This year IPL has welcomed its new family member in the form of its robo cam which has been given the name "Champak" on April 20 as a result of the fan poll conducted by the IPL in which the fans unanimously chose Champak as the robot's name amidst four options.
Champak has been regularly seen accompanying the officials and the players at the coin toss at every match. Also, it has been a regular figure running around the ground and often interacting with the players both before and after the match.

In a latest video shared by the IPL, Champak was seen mingling around with the 75-year old legend Sunil Gavaskar, who is popularly known as Sunny G, as the evergreen former Indian batter seemed to be having fun goofing around with some moves to show of his own. Watch the video below 👇

In the past as well, Sunil Gavaskar has been seen enjoying himself on the field as a broadcaster more recently when India won the Champions Trophy 2025 and Gavaskar expressed his emotions with a happy dance which netizens found really cute.
