Mahadev Betting App Scam Accused Flees Own Wedding Mandap Just Before 7 Pheras To Escape ED Raid In Jaipur

Jaipur (Rajasthan), July 3: In a shocking incident, chaos erupted during a grand wedding at a luxurious hotel turned in Rajasthan's Jaipur. The groom had to run away from his own wedding to escape the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid. The bizarre incident took place at the famous Fairmont Hotel where the groom ran away from the wedding stage minutes before taking the final marriage vows. The raid was conducted in connection with the Rs 15,000 crore Mahadev Betting App scam. The ED officials had arrived at the wedding venue to arrest the groom as he is a wanted accused in the case.

Groom Wanted In Scam Case

The groom who has been identified as Saurabh Ahuja, who is a wanted accused in the Mahadev betting scam, was about to take the saat phere when he got a hint that the ED officials have arrived at the venue to arrest him. Before the officials could arrest him, he fled the mandap and disappeared. The incident left the guests and the family members of both the sides stunned.

Manages To Escape In Time

There are reports that the groom, Saurabh is accused of handling crores of rupees in illegal transactions which is connected to the Mahadev Online Betting App. The ED had been tracking Saurabh for a while in the money laundering case. They had sent a team from Raipur to Jaipur to arrest him after the ceremony was completed. However, Saurabh managed to escape from the wedding just in time.

ED Interrogates Bride

The ED did not leave the wedding venue empty-handed, they arrested another individuals from the wedding party in connection with the case. They also arrested Pranavendra, who is considered a key player in the scam, including two others. They also questioned the bride, their family members and other close relatives to gather information about the whereabouts of Saurabh.

Search Operation Underway

The ED has initiated a search operation to arrest Saurabh Ahuja and the interrogation is ongoing with the arrested accused. There are reports that more arrests are expected in the coming days as the Mahadev app scam investigation continues.

Sahil Khan Arrested In Same Case

Earlier, actor and fitness influencer Sahil Khan was arrested in connection with the case from Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh. His arrest was made after a long chase of 40-hour and 1800 km chase across five states. He got bail from the Session Court in Mumbai later.
