Rishab Shetty Charges 2400% More For Kantara Chapter 1 After Previous Film's Success - Check Out His Fees

Actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty will be next seen in the film, Kantara Chapter 1, which is a prequel to his blockbuster 2022 film, Kantara. The actor has reportedly taken a massive hike of 2400 per cent as the remuneration of Kantara Chapter 1.

According to a report in Koimoi, Rishab, who was also the writer and director of Kantara along with being the lead actor, had charged Rs 4 crore as his fee for the 2022 film. When the film released, it shattered all records at the box office, and the prequel is now one of the most-awaited films of the year.

Given the anticipation and release scale, Rishab is now reportedly charging Rs 100 crore for Kantara Chapter 1, which is 2400 per cent more than his fees for the first part.

Not just that, but the actor and the producers have reportedly also agreed on a profit-sharing model, through which Rishab is expected to earn Rs 50 crore more.

About Kantara Chapter 1

After three long years of wait, Kantara Chapter 1, which is the prequel to Kantara, is all set to release in theatres in October 2025. All hopes are pinned on the upcoming film as Kantara had smashed records at the box office and had minted Rs 400 crore back in 2022.
