Former Arsenal forward Tyreece John-Jules has been spotted training with his old club's Under-21s squad this week following his departure from the club last summer.
The 24-year-old, who spent 15 years at the Gunners after joining at just eight years old, never made it to the first team but was a regular in training. John-Jules caught the eye of then first-team coach Freddie Ljungberg, earning himself a loan move to Lincoln City thanks to his impressive performances on the training pitch.
In 2020, he found himself named on the bench for the FA Community Shield victory over Liverpool by Mikel Arteta. The young striker also enjoyed loan spells at Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town and Derby County.

After leaving Arsenal in 2024, John-Jules joined Cardiff City, where he made 27 appearances in all competitions. However, he was released on a free transfer when his contract expired last summer.
Following an impressive performance in a PFA-organised friendly in August, where he scored against Brighton and Hove Albion Under-21s, John-Jules has returned to Arsenal.
Footage from Hayters TV shows the forward back in training with the Under-21s.
Arsenal's Under-21s have had a promising start to the 2025/26 season. Despite losing their opening game to Fulham, they've since secured victories over Brighton, Wolves and Derby County in Premier League 2, as well as Newport County in the EFL Trophy.
The 24-year-old is friends with forward Noni Madueke and was spotted during the winger's signing announcement in the summer transfer window. Madueke made the move from Chelsea for a cool £48.5million in the summer and has been turning heads since his arrival.
Elsewhere, defender Tino Quamina returned to the club's training base after being let go. After his release, the versatile youngster trained with the Under-18s, having previously helped the club reach the FA Youth Cup final.
Goalkeeper Remy Mitchell has also received an invite to train with Arsenal again. Mitchell bid farewell to the Gunners for Swansea City in 2022 when his contract ran out.
In August, he was seen training back with the Under-21s after spending most of last season on loan in the Isthmian League North Division with Haringey Borough.
