The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain at different places in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh, and eastern Rajasthan for the next one week.

Along with this, winds can also blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour. At present, the temperature in some parts of western Rajasthan remains above normal, but meteorologists say that rain will bring relief in the next two days.

According to IMD, monsoon rains will intensify in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh from Monday. Rainfall may start in Jammu and Kashmir from 21 to 26 June.

Meanwhile, rain continues in the coastal districts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, eastern Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Continuous rains in the coastal areas of Mumbai and Karnataka have also affected normal life.
