Emmerdale viewers have been worried about what is in store for Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) after Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) rocked up in the village. The pair have been getting closer romantically ever since Aaron's evil husband John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) fled the Yorkshire Dales to evade the police. However, spoilers have revealed things are set to come crashing down for Robron - as fans affectionately call the couple. In scenes yet to air, Robert is alarmed to see Kev speaking with his sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins). She's desperate for an explanation regarding Kev, and urges Robert to tell Aaron the truth about how he's his prison husband. Later on, Robert is left flustered when Kev encounters Aaron, prompting Robert to question his ability to maintain separate lives.

Robert juggles his exes who are near one another, and his anxiety skyrockets under pressure from his sister. Before long, a guilt-ridden Robert finally agrees to end his relationship with Kev, whom he met in prison.
Soon, a blissfully unaware Aaron announces his and Robert's renewed romance to their friends at the Woolpack, but things take a heartbreaking turn.
Meanwhile, Kev promises to change and be a better, less aggressive person, but Robert continues to balance both relationships and fails to be honest.
Both Aaron and Kev become suspicious around Robert, and Kev shocks the village by kissing him in public. Robert is mortified to realise that his beloved Aaron saw the whole kiss.
Will the three men exit the Dales and start separate lives away from each other? Has Robert lost both Kev and Aaron for good - or will they be able to work it out?
During the Inside Soap Awards, Emmerdale stars Bradley Riches and Shebz Miah said fans will "grow to love" Kev.
Bradley teased The Mirror: "There are some twists about him later on. He's very good," Shebz added: "The most amazing part is it embeds quite a few different characters across the soap."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
