
Two people have died and two people have been seriously injured in a shooting in Co Fermanagh, police in Northern Ireland have said. Police and paramedics were called to the Drummeer Road area of Maguiresbridge during the morning of Wednesday, July 23. The incident prompted the closure of the road.
In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed that two people had died. They also said that two people are being treated in hospital for serious injuries. The force added there is "no ongoing risk" to the public. The closure of the road in light of the incident may prompt travel delays on the A4 Belfast Road.
