Prince George may be a future King but right now he is similar to many other boys his age. As well as attending school and having a love of video games, a fact once shared by his dad Prince William, the 11-year-old prince also seems to be keen on sports.
While he is known to love both football and rugby, the second-in-line to the throne is also believed to be a tennis fan. As well as attending Wimbledon with his mum Princess Kate, who is patron of Wimbledon's All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC), it is believed that George has also had the privilege of having a tennis lesson with Wimbledon star Roger Federer in 2019.
The private tennis lesson is believed to have taken place at Princess Kate's parents home in Berkshire.
Wimbledon champion Federer shared a few details about the lesson, which took place when George was younger. The tennis star said: "At that stage it's all about just touching the ball, it's already good. Same with my boys."
As reported by OK, Federer also said he knows he has an "advantage" when it comes to being one of George's favourite players.
He said: "I think I have a little advantage that I actually spent some time, you know, with him.
"I'm the only player he's ever met. Then you have a little head start in who is your favourite player."
Prince George has attended a handful of Wimbledon matches before with his mum Kate, 43, and dad William, 43, with his younger sister Princess Charlotte, 10, also sometimes in attendance.
William and Kate's youngest son Prince Louis, who turned seven this year, is yet to make his Wimbledon debut.
It is believed Kate has been a big fan of tennis for years, having played the sport in her own time with her passion reportedly rubbing off on all three of her children.
