Quality Street fans get major update ahead of 2025 festive season

Quality Street fans are in for a treat this Christmas as the iconic festive brand has announced a special new product for the 2025 season. Quality Street tins are a staple in many British homes during the festive period, and fans have already started buying theirs to feature in all their Christmas celebrations this year. Fans of Quality Street will want to know about the brand's latest venture that will be available to customers across the country.

Quality Street has recently announced a special collaboration with doughnut brand Krispy Kreme, giving fans a chance to enjoy iconic Quality Street flavours in a whole new way. Two of Quality Street's iconic chocolates have been transformed into doughnuts and are on sale now. Nestlé has called the collaboration a "celebration of Quality Street's rich British heritage and its place at the heart of Christmas celebrations."

One of the most iconic features of a Quality Street tin, called The Purple One, consists of caramel and hazelnut in milk chocolate. To turn this into a doughnut, Krispy Kreme has created a treat that is filled with caramel cream and chocolate hazelnut. On top, there is purple icing, a caranel swirl and little bits of hazelnut sprinkled on.

Meanwhile, they took the iconic Caramel Swirl from the Quality Street tin and turned it into a doughnut filled with caramel cream and a chocolatey coating on top, with gold sugar and more caramel to finish it off.

It also created two drinks inspired by these treats: The Purple One Hot Chocolate and a Caramel Swirl Latte. Both of these doughnuts are available in Krispy Kreme stores nationwide and through delivery via the Krispy Kreme app.

Krispy Kreme originated in the US, but opened in the UK back in 2003 when it opened in Harrods in London. It has grown significantly in the UK since then and now has stores dotted across the country, with more than 120 currently.

Announcing the unique collaboration, Krispy Kreme said: "The air is getting crisper. The jumpers are coming out of storage. Somewhere, Mariah is doing vocal warm-ups. And to help you get in the festive spirit, we've made a doughnut collection inspired by the Christmassiest chocolates of all: Quality Street.

"Our two new melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts and decadent drinks are inspired by the classic Purple One and Caramel Swirl, made to get you into the festive spirit nice and early."
