It can be frustrating taking the time to cook scrambled eggs only for them to become burned, but they may come out wrong if you do not use an important ingredient. Scrambled eggs may seem simple to make, but you need to be careful with the timing, as they can easily come out the frying pan rubbery and dried-out if you overcook even by a minute.
However Kaitlin, a cook and co-founder of The Woks of Life has shared there is a technique to incur you get the fluffiest scrambled eggs without much effort, as all you need is a teaspoon of cornstarch. She said: "The cornstarch keeps the eggs tender, preventing them from setting too quickly and going tough."

It might sound bizarre, but cornstarch loosens the proteins in eggs which stops them sticking to the pan while cooking to make sure they do not burn.
Cornstarch is also a thickening agent that will bind moisture to the eggs, which helps create a creamier and much fluffier texture.
This is a really straightforward technique but helps cook the scrambled eggs gently so you can make them really tasty without much effort.
How to make tastier scrambled eggsIngredients
- Four large eggs
- One teaspoon of cornstarch
- One tablespoon of water
- One tablespoon of oil (or butter)
Instructions
To begin, crack the eggs into a bowl, and stir with a fork until fully mixed together and there are foamy bubbles.
Season with salt and pepper. If you wish, you can also add any other herbs, cheese or even truffle oil to make the eggs more flavourful.
Mix together the cornstarch and water. Make sure to prepare the cornstarch beforehand, as you will need it as soon as you begin cooking.
Then, heat a frying pan on the stove on a medium-high heat. Add the oil, then stir the cornstarch mixture into the eggy mixture.
Pour the eggs into the frying pan, and then immediately use a rubber spatula to push the eggs around and keep them moving so they do not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Kaitlin said: "As you push the eggs around, layers of egg will cook and pile on top of each other, creating a fluffy effect. As the egg cooks further, you can fold it on top of itself."
Once the eggs look almost fully cooked, take them off the heat and switch off the stove. Give them two final stirs and they will continue to cook in the hot pan.
Your scrambled eggs should now look perfectly fluffy and wobbly without any burn marks. Take them out of the frying pan and place them of some toast for a delicious breakfast.
