For a cost-effective cleaning solution that's just as good as and sometimes better than expensive commercial products, white vinegar is a great option.
Its acidic nature means it works great at dissolving soap residue and grime, and to top that off, it's environmentally friendly too.
In the video, Aidy sprayed white vinegar over the shower glass and used a microfibre cloth to buff it in before giving it a rinse with the shower head and finishing off by using a squeegee.
While spraying and wipping the product of right away will prove effective for slight limescale and soap scum, for tougher stains the acidic liquid will need to be left on for a few minutes.
According to the cleaning experts at Molly Maid, you should start by wetting the screen with water before spraying white vinegar and completely saturating the glass.
They said: "Allow it to soak for at least 10 minutes-longer if there's serious buildup." After, use a sponge to wipe the area down before going in with a microfibre cloth to give the screen a "streak-free shine".
