Fans watching at home were less than impressed over the line-up, with fans taking to social media today (June 1) over who the guests were on the show. Ashley Walters, JoJo Siwa, Suzi Ruffell, Gemma Whelan, Dom Skinner, and ALT BLK ERA appeared on the Channel 4 daytime show to chat to Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, whilst also sampling some delicious recipes. Despite the long list of guests on the programme, some fans reacted online to say that they had never heard of them before and complained that the lineup was 'weak'.
One person exclaimed on X, "This must be the weakest line up for a long time ." A second person also commented, " guests seem to be quantity rather than quality."
A third also chimed in, " clutching at straws with the celebrities, ha that's a joke." A fourth similarly echoed, "Sees guest list, especially the girl child. Turns over."
However, some fans did recognise Ashley Walters, who had recently appeared in the smash Netflix hit series, Adolescence. One person said online, " the best Sunday brunch guest that they've had in months - ridiculously hot and amazingly talented!!"
A second person also noticed JoJo, " I only know of one on here today, Jo Jo, I believe she was on Big Brother."
Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer host the Channel 4 show each week. They welcome an array of celebrity guests to the panel to be interviewed and sample some of Chef Simon's recipes.
TV personality Dom Skinner is known for working on the BBC series Glow Up, whilst JoJo recently appeared on the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Ashley, known for his iconic role in Top Boy, had been back on our screens recently in Netflix's Adolescence. Comedian Suzi Ruffell was also on the guest panel alongside Game of Thrones actress Gemma Whelan.
Rock duo ALT BLK ERA, better known as Nyrobi and Chaya Becket-Messam, recently released their debut album this year.
Sunday Brunch, airs on Channel 4 from 10am, each weekend.
