
Europe's best dog-friendly beaches have been revealed, and a staggering eight of them are located around the coast of the UK. Going to the beach with their dog is a favourite activity for many pet owners who live near the coast. However, some beaches are better than others when it comes to how welcoming and friendly they are to our furry friends. Now, we know where to find the best dog-friendly beaches in the UK and throughout Europe when we are planning travels at home or abroad with our pets.
A study by CV Villas analysed more than 130 coastal locations across and analysed factors such as beach dimensions, climate conditions and terrain to determine which were the most friendly to dogs. Although a UK beach did not make the top spot, a total of eight UK beaches were included in the top 20, many of which ranked high in the top 10. Here are the most dog-friendly beaches in Europe, and which UK ones make the list.
