Warning - This article contains significant spoilers for Netflix series The Waterfront.
Netflix's latest offering, The Waterfront, is now available for streaming with all eight episodes ready to watch.
The show is the newest brainchild of renowned writer Kevin Williamson.
The plot revolves around the Buckley family, whose desperate attempts to maintain their faltering North Carolina fishing empire lead them down increasingly perilous paths.
Here's everything you need to know about The Waterfront's conclusion. Be warned, major spoilers lie ahead.
The finale is a whirlwind of action from beginning to end, picking up after Harlan and Shawn's escape from Grady's compound and following Bree's kidnapping. She wakes up on a boat in the middle of the ocean, reports the Mirror US.
Viewers will quickly deduce that she's aboard Grady's yacht. Back on dry land, Cane is jolted awake at home, fearing more henchmen are coming for him.
He arms himself, only to discover his wife has returned.
Unsurprisingly, he confesses that he finally slept with Jenna while Peyton was away. Later, Peyton waits for Jenna outside her house.
Whatever revenge she had planned seems to dissipate when it's revealed Jenna's father passed away the previous night. Peyton then helps her organise the funeral.
Meanwhile, upon realising that Bree never returned home, Harlan contacts Grady and is told to surrender himself in exchange for his daughter.
Aboard Grady's yacht, Bree quickly evaluates her limited options and fashions a makeshift weapon from a wooden hanger. She prepares to confront the first person who enters the room, only to discover it's her son Diller, who had witnessed her abduction and secretly stowed away on the vessel.
Bree persuades Diller to hide as she is escorted to dine with Grady. They are served steak and Bree feigns drinking vodka.
In a daring move, she assaults the heavily armed chef with the vodka bottle, seizing his firearm to coerce Grady into reversing the boat's course.
Her plan nearly succeeds until Diller is found, prompting Bree to surrender. However, she then stabs Grady in the arm with her improvised weapon.

In retaliation, Grady shoots her in the leg and orders her to be thrown overboard, but not before Diller tosses an inflatable raft towards her.
Harlan arrives on the scene, with his sons Cane and Shawn concealed in their smuggling compartments. Grady, now more unstable after Cane torched his drug factory, has Harlan beaten.
Cane and Shawn reveal themselves just in time to stop Grady from executing Harlan. A tense standoff ensues, during which Shawn rushes Diller to the safety of their boat, instructing him to secure the cabin.
One of Grady's anonymous henchmen makes a move, sparking a chaotic mix of gunfire and hand-to-hand combat. The henchmen are seemingly defeated, with Harlan shooting at least two and Shawn overpowering another.
Cane pursues Grady, who tries to arm himself with an automatic weapon, but is intercepted by both Cane and Harlan. He discloses his paternal issues, which seem to have influenced his interactions with Harlan throughout the series.
Regrettably for him, he questions Cane's legitimacy as Harlan's son, only to be shot in the face and head.
Bree, bleeding profusely on the raft, experiences another flashback to the night her grandfather was murdered. However, her adult self is seen consoling her younger self.
She regains consciousness and fires a flare, enabling her family to locate her.
The family are now at the hospital where Bree has suffered significant blood loss and hypothermia. Harlan consoles Cane, acknowledging that he is rattled after killing Grady.
He also informs Shawn that the family owe him a great deal, hinting at Cane accepting him as a Buckley.
We then see the new Sheriff, still bruised from his own encounter with Grady, informing Harlan that the boats and bodies have been dealt with. It appears another lethal confrontation has been successfully concealed.
Before Cane visits Jenna's house, Harlan confesses that he always wanted Cane to stay and jointly run the family business with him.
At Jenna's house, she informs Cane that their relationship was not genuine and merely a diversion from their respective troubled marriages. Upon returning home, Cane's wife assures him that they are okay and she will ensure it.
It seems she has decided to emulate her mother-in-law.
In the concluding scene, Belle departs for a clandestine rendezvous with Emmett Parker. It appears that the agreement Cane and Harlan had with their former adversaries is no longer valid.
Instead, Emmett will collaborate with the Buckleys, but only under Belle's leadership. Upon Belle's arrival, Parker has businessman Wes restrained and subjected to physical abuse.
Wes is the man Belle seduced and exploited in a land deal. He withdrew from the deal, aware that the bank is about to seize the property, enabling him to purchase it at a bargain price.
Parker introduces Belle as Wes' 'new boss', to which he swears his complete obedience. This raises several intriguing questions. What tasks will Belle assign to Wes? How will she handle Harlan?
The Waterfront is streaming on Netflix.
