Cam Norrie and Sonay Kartal are the only British hopes left standing at Wimbledon after an emotional exit for Emma Raducanu. She had her chances against world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, but in both sets, she was unable to capitalise on breaks of serve as she went down 7-6, 6-4.
The seeds have continued to tumble elsewhere. But Carlos Alcaraz came through another tricky tie against German player Jan-Lennard Struff on Friday to set up a clash with Andre Rublev in the last-16. There is no blazing sunshine scheduled for the weekend, but with the record temperatures expected to be replaced by clouds, the rain should hold off.
It's set to be another exciting day, with Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Iga Swiatek all in action.
