The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is one of the best flagship phones on the market, and thanks to Sky, phone fans can get it even cheaper than before with a monthly price cut. Sky has introduced the SamsungGalaxy S25 Ultra for £36 a month, down from £46, with a £12 upfront cost.
That means shoppers will save £360 over the 36-month contract without data included. That's not all, because Samsung fans who don't want to spend that much can also get the Samsung S24 FE for £18 a month, down from £23, and it even comes with a free Samsung Watch7.
Overall, for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, shoppers will pay £1296 without data included over a 36-month contract. Potential Galaxy S24 FE owners will pay £648 - but the good news is that Sky will let Galaxy fans swap after 24 months.
For shoppers who want some alternatives to go for, there's also Carphone Warehouse, which has a range of other deals to explore. For Apple fans, Giffgaff also has a reasonable monthly price on its iPhone 16 Pro with a £24 a month plan with a slightly more expensive £25 upfront cost if users want to shop around.
Tech Editor Dave Snelling reviewed the Galaxy S25 Ultra when it first released - and he was pretty impressed. He noted: "Samsung has done it again and produced another spectacularly good smartphone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks great, features a stunning 6.9-inch screen, a brilliant camera, long battery life, and that supremely quick Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
"It also gets all of those Galaxy AI upgrades that can organise your life, retouch your photos, chat to you like a human and bring live football scores straight to the home screen." However, David did have a problem with some of the AI features. He added: "It's all clever stuff, but for some, it might just be a bit too smart.
"There's so much Artificial Intelligence now included that it can all feel slightly overwhelming, and only power users (and true AI geeks) are going to get close to scratching the surface of what this device can really do.
"That doesn't make this a bad phone. In fact, it's a very good phone. It just feels like all of Samsung's development is going into the software rather than boosting the hardware. Perhaps the AI boom for smartphones is because there's nothing else manufacturers can add or improve. You might ask yourself why you need a new phone at all - they say AI is the answer".
In regards to the Galaxy S24 FE, it has some glowing reviews on the Samsung website. One reviewer said: "Everything about this device is flawless. Smooth and vibrant screen. Fabulous camera.
"Connects fast and performs like a speedy tank. The battery could be better, but other than that. Flawless phone."
Another says: "I love my new phone it charges really quickly and lasts all day. I love the display - I can see every icon and they are easy to find. The camera is fantastic and I love the design of the phone. The performance is amazing, everything is quicker, it's the best phone I've had."
Some users have been disappointed with the S24 FE's battery life, as this three-star review says: "I like this phone, however, it does require frequent charging and takes far too long to charge at three hours."
