In today's fast-paced world, having the right tech companion can make all the difference. Whether it's for catching up on work on the go, streaming favourite shows in great quality, or keeping kids entertained during travel, the right device should cover all grounds.
With so many options, finding one that delivers all of this, without a super premium price, feels like a rare win. Now, shoppers can grab the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Android Tablet for £199.66 down from £237.98 on Amazon. Premium rival Apple, and its iPad Air models can cost as much as £799 to buy new, but in the comments, some tech shoppers said the Samsung tablet 'rivalled Apple'.
As one said: "This is an excellent tablet with a very good battery life, good screen, and sound. It's as good as my wife's iPad Air, even more so, you can expand its memory with an external micro SD." However, it's worth pointing out we don't know what model of iPad Air the shopper is referring to.
With a sleek metal finish in Graphite, Silver, or Navy, this tablet has a modern look that is said to feel premium. The large display features a high refresh rate for smooth scrolling and viewing, even in bright conditions.
The audio experience is also described as 'rich and clear', offering 3D sound that adds depth whether shoppers are watching movies, playing games, or listening to music.
It comes with up to 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB. That means more space for apps, photos, and videos. Multitasking is also easy with the ability to split the screen into three sections, meaning shoppers can sketch, browse, and video chat all at once, without having to close anything.
If this isn't what everyone is looking for, they could try other alternatives such as a more expensive option with the Apple iPad mini 2024 for £499 from Argos which has a 8.3in multi-touch screen, an LED backlit display, fingerprint resistant coating and 128GB memory capacity. For a cheaper option, there is also the LENOVO M9 9" Tablet with Silicone Case for £69 from Currys, which has 32 GB Storage and a battery life of up to 12 hours.
The Samsung tablet has a 4.4 out of 5-star rating from 1,314 reviews on Amazon. "Charges quick, easy to use and brightness is good," said another customer.
Not everyone felt the same way and one person wrote: "The functions are a little slower than expected." Another said: "It's too slow." For 16% off, however, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ Android Tablet could be an ideal choice for shoppers on a tighter budget.
