At least one person was killed and two injured in southern Germany on Tuesday after a man with a knife attacked people at a company.
The attack took place in Mellrichstadt, a small town east of Frankfurt in Germany, informed the police in a series of posts on X.
The suspect, a 21-year-old German man, was arrested shortly after the attack.
The deceased is a 59 year old and the two others injured, 55 and 62, are employees of the company.
Police confirmed there is no further danger to the public. Investigations into the motive are ongoing.
The intent of the crime is still unknown.
